When you (the user) accesses eye2x.org (the information system) logs (data) are generated and most of it is immediately destroyed when the user disconnects from the information system. Eye2X.org administrators take security of this data very seriously and measures are in place to protect the privacy or users.
Data is collected to maintain security of the information system, monitor network faults and observe performance. This data is processed after collection to remove personally identifying information for later storage and monitoring.
Date, Time, Originating IP, page requested, user agent, protocol type (HTTP/HTTPS)
Date, Tine, Originating IP (destroyed after 24 hours, only the count of page loads is retained)
Date, Time, Originating IP, file requested, user agent, protocol type (HTTP/HTTPS/FTP/FTPS) and file (if file is uploaded)
Date, Time, originating mail address, full mail content.
All mail inboxes on eye2x.org domain are managed by the administrator and personal inboxes are controlled by their respective users.
When generating logs, the last byte of the client IPv4 address is obscured. IP 192.168.128.128 will be saved as 192.168.128.XXX in the log.
Logs are stored securely and removed 32 calendar days after generation and over-written on disk.
Eye2X.org only uses open source and self-written software. Configuration files are modified to achieve maximum server security and user privacy.
User data is never sold or shared. No personally identifying information or metadata is kept. Eye2X.org is unable to provide any identifying information to law enforcement.
This level of privacy respect should be the standard, not the exception.
